Korennya koren..korennya koren..” Bapak pedagang koren selalu lewat saat saya sedang di kelas Pronounciation sore hari. Awalnya saya dan teman-teman bingung, bapak itu jualan apaan sih, koren itu apa? Hmm..setelah liat apa yang di bawa bapak itu, ternyata si bapak jualan jagung rebus. Jagung dalam bahasa inggris = corn. Jadi dengan logat Jawanya, Bapak itu melafalkan Corn dengan “Koren”.
Di lain tempat, sang Ibu pemilik sebuah warung makan, selalu menerjemahkan dalam bahasa inggris untuk lauk pauk yang kami minta, Bu, nasinya pake telur sama sayur ya” sang Ibu membalas "Rice with egg and vegetables” saya tersenyum-seyum, “Yes, madam.. How much?”. Sang Ibu menjawab lagi " three thousand”. Tampaknya sang Ibu menghafal dengan giat kata demi kata itu ^_^
Ada Bapak penjual Roti Bakar, yang setia lewat depan Camp dan berteriak “Roti Bakar !!” (dengan logat yang selalu membuat kami tertawa). Ada juga Es Dawet, Bakso Malang, Siomay, Es Teh, hmm..apalagi ya.. yang jelas para penjual keliling itu adalah orang yang sama, dan mereka adalah satu-satunya di bidang penjualannya (kecuali bakso malang ada 2 kalo ga salah)

Eniwei, I’ve said before that I’ll tell you about cost course in Pare. And this is mine.. perhaps, it can be your consideration if you wanna take course in Pare..

Courses and Costs:
TOEFL - At Mahesa, a month, twice a day, Monday ‘till Saturday (Saturday just for test TOEFL)
Cost = Rp 220.000

Speaking - At Marvelous, a month, once a day, Monday ‘till Friday
Cost = Rp 120.000

Pronounciation - At Access, a month, twice a day (Monday ‘till Friday)
Cost = Rp 100.000

Camp (English Area) - At Marvelous, a month
Cost = Rp 120.000

Others :
Transport = Rp 70.000 (commute by train, economic class)
Other Transport = Rp 30.000 (ojek – angkot – bus – angkot – becak)
Rent a bike = Rp 50.000 (for a month)
Food & Water = Rp 350.000 (for a month, but it’s depend on what you eat)

Total Cost = Rp 1.160.000,-

Every course have difference cost, there are also course with cost just Rp 50.000 for a month. And Boarding House (no English Area), usually cheaper than English Area.

No rain today, it makes the weather very hot, more hot than Jakarta or Semarang, and hot weather always make me get headache. By the way, This week i'll get presentation at Speaking Class, next posting, God Willing..I'll write down the article which i use in presentation. See ya..
